Our technical department is specialized in drawing and design. That makes our company in lead in research of innovative solutions and in the production of personalized products, to meet the needs of the costumers and support them with professionalism and experience from the early stages of the production process.
The technical department is made of innovative CNC machines that allow us to make the molds and the equipment needed to create the finished product. Our thermal and tempering treatments and and the equipment are made completely in proper ovens.
A.G. PRESS is specialized in processing of brass in different alloys, from certified trafilerie. Brass bars in different alloys and diameters are cut into pieces with 4 automatic cutters.
Our five hot molding plants range is from 200 to 400 tonnes to get all the products that costumers require. The hot molding process, compared to other process (for example the fusion), allows to obtain mechanical characteristics and surface aspects that are qualitatively superior with a lower percentage of waste.
The department has automatic machines for big lots and e and automatics machines with turntable managed by operators for smaller lots that required more accurate processing.
On costumer’s request there may be an additional process step realized through sandblasting: with the use of steel microspheres, oils and molding residues are deleted from the finished product.
In the turning department, processing operations are performed both on robotic transfers, on lathes and on CNC machining centers. We also have di un 5 axis machining center with robotic island that allow us to complete the processing in a single step, optimizing the processing time while maintaining the quality. We make products directly from the bar and we do mechanical workings for third parties even for minimum quantities.
On request we can also process other materials like aluminum, steel and plastics.
